Corrosion-resistant austenite-containing phosphorus alloyed cast steel comprises greater than 0.01-0.6 wt.% of carbon; greater than 0.005-0.5 wt.% of nitrogen; greater than 0-25 wt.% of manganese; greater than 0-12 wt.% of nickel; greater than 12-20 wt.% of chromium; 0-4 wt.% of molybdenum; 0-2 wt.% of aluminum; greater than 0.5-4 wt.% of silicon; 0-2 wt.% of niobium; 0-1 wt.% of tantalum; 0-3 wt.% of titanium; 0-3 wt.% of tungsten; 0-4 wt.% of copper; 0-1 wt.% of vanadium; greater than 0.05-1.5 wt.% of phosphorus and balance of iron and smelting steel elements.
