Disclosed is a method for, particularly, quantitatively detecting an arbitrary target substance at a high speed and high sensitivity by measuring an electrochemical change, in particular, measuring, as a current, a charge generated by a power generation enzyme. Also disclosed are a detection part and a device that are to be used for said detection method.Specifically disclosed is a method for quantitatively detecting a target molecule, said method comprising combining a molecule-specific detection system using a support (preferably magnetic beads or a plastic plate) with a power generation enzyme (glucose oxidase, etc.) and then detecting the electrons thus generated as a current. Also specifically disclosed are an electrode cell and a device that are suitable for said detection method.
