METHODS TO REDUCE THE QUANTITY OF A PRO-INFLAMMATORY SUBSTANCE, TO PREVENT, RELIEVE OR REMEDY AN INFLAMMATORY CONDITION SECOND TO AN ORAL CONDITION IN THE ANIMAL AND TO SELECT A COMPOSITION FOR THE ADMINISTRATION, FEEDING, FEEDING, FEEDING, FEEDING, FEEDING, AND FEEDING , USE OF A COMPOSITION. A method of reducing the amount of a pro-inflammatory substance present at a high level in the animal's body tissue or fluid by administering orally to the animal a reducing amount of a pro-inflammatory substance of a composition comprising at least one omega-fatty acid. 3. The method is useful for reducing inflammation caused by high levels of pro-inflammatory substances, including inflammation associated with an oral condition.
