Method for nutrition animal i.e. horse, involves measuring physical activity of animal, deducing energy expenditure from measured physical activity and calculating food requirements of animal according to energy expenditure
The method involves measuring a physical activity of an animal. Energy expenditure is deduced from the measured physical activity. Food requirements of the animal are calculated according to the energy expenditure. A portion of food adapted to the calculated food requirement is proportioned. The portion is delivered to the animal. A consumption of the delivered portion by the animal is verified. A mobile equipment i.e. sensor (10) is carried by the animal. An independent claim is also included for a system for implementing a nutrition method of an animal i.e. horse, comprising a measuring unit.
