摘要
A satellite thermal infrared brightness temperature anomaly method for short-term and impending prediction of strong earthquakes, mainly utilizes polar orbit satellites, geostationary meteorological satellites, and satellite constellation microwave to observe, combined with other satellites carrying scanners with infrared waveband, the processed brightness temperature and coastal Surface Latent Heat Flux detected remotely by satellites, satellite receiving equipment and image processing equipment. The color density in a satellite thermal infrared map are divided into grades, and the color grades, i.e. brightness temperature grades are 0.5°K to 5°K. The grey scale values obtained by the infrared scanners are used to obtain the actual temperature value via atmospheric model corrections. The phenomena of temperature decreasing ring may appear over the cloud layers within the earthquake-pregnant region. At the same time, odd shaped clouds may appear in the sky over the earthquake-pregnant before quaking. When the earthquake occurs on a plateau region in the inland, certain thermal stress lines can be observed, the converging points of which indicates the future epicenter.
