PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selecting a positioning base station for selecting a base station, having less interference due to a jamming wave or multipath in communication with a mobile station as the positioning base station, and to provide a mobile station positioning method for calculating the position of the mobile station, using the selected positioning base station.;SOLUTION: An correlated computing part 40 calculates the correlated value of a PN code and a replica code, contained in a radio wave received, when each of the base stations 12 receives the radio waves for positioning, including the PN code transmitted from the mobile stations 10. A correlated differential value calculating part 44 calculates the time differential of the calculated correlated value, concerning each of a plurality of the base stations. A characteristic value calculating part 46 calculates the characteristic values expressing characteristics of the time differential of the correlated values, on the basis of values of the time differential of the correlated values, with respect to the plurality of the base stations 12. A base station selecting part 56 selects the positioning base station used for calculating the positions of the mobile station 10 from among the plurality of the base stations 12, in the order of larger value, whose characteristic values calculated by the characteristic value calculating part 46.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
