Two water storage reservoirs lie on almost equal levels. A water storage reservoir with an underlying water-table is formed corresponding to a storage cycle by occasionally lowering a water-table compared to the normal level of the surroundings. It is also a partial stretch of water as big as possible and completely enclosed with banks or a partial embankment that runs out from the shoreline of the sea, marshland, or a lagoon or the banks of a lake and also ends there.
