A student guide system for limiting the use of a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to restrict the use of a mobile terminal of a student, temporarily according to the consent of a student's parent by transmitting a request for the punishment of a teacher to the parent. A student guide server(2) delivers a request for the punishment of a teacher' to a student's parent, and then sets up a usage restricting function is set up in a mobile terminal(4) which a student carries under the consent of the student's parent. A teacher's terminal(3) requests the punishment for restricting the use of the mobile terminal. A parent's terminal(5) receives the punishment request for the teacher, and then inputs the consent for the punishment.
