A horizontal magnetic field magnet for a magnetic field-applied Czochralski crystal growth device is provided to reduce a cooling cost by installing superconductive coils of large diameter inside an integrated type cryostat. A cryostat(32) has a hollow cylindrical structure. A low temperature space(33) of cube is attached on both sides of the cryostat. A pair of single superconductive coils(31a,31b) is formed inside the low temperature space, and is faced each other. A low temperature refrigerator(34) for cooling the superconductive coil and a current lead(35) for supplying a current are integrally formed in the cryostat. A vacuum vessel is formed inside the cryostat and the low temperature space. A liquid helium vessel is mounted inside the vacuum vessel. A pair of single superconductive coils and the superconductive coil is installed inside the liquid helium vessel. A pair of single superconductive coil is cooled by liquid helium, and maintains a superconductive state. A cooled superconductive coil generates a horizontal magnetic field in a center space.
