A material for an organic photoelectric device is provided to realize an organic photoelectric device of high efficiency by having thermal stability due to the glass transition temperature(Tg) more than 120°C and the thermal decomposition temperature(Td) more than 400°C and transporting electronics and holes. A material for an organic photoelectric device is represented by the following chemical formula 1 and comprises a bipolar organic compound having a hole transporting unit and an electron transporting unit within a molecule at the same time. In the chemical formula 1, a substituent indicated as Ar1 and Ar2 is selected from the group consisting of substituted or unsubstituted C6-30 aryl or arylene group, substituted or unsubstituted C1-30 alkyl or alkylene group, and substituted or unsubstituted C2-30 heteroaryl or heteroarylene group; R1 and R6 are independently a substituent selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted C6-30 aryl group, substituted or unsubstituted C2-30 heteroaryl group and substituted or unsubstituted C1-30 alkyl group; R2-R5 are selected from the group consisting of independently hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted C6-30 aryl or arylene group, substituted or unsubstituted C2-30 heteroaryl and heteroarylene group, and substituted or unsubstituted C1-30 alkyl or alkylene group; m and n are an integer of 0-3 and m+n is an integer of 1-6; and o and P are an integer of 0-2 and o+p is an integer of 1-4.
