PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain new α-glucosidase for efficiently forming an α-1,3-glucoside bond, with which an oligosaccharide such as nigerooligosaccharide containing an α-1,3-glucoside bond, etc., and a glycoside are efficiently produced, to provide a method for producing the new α-glucosidase and to obtain a new strain useful for the production.;SOLUTION: The α-glucosidase acts on a glucide containing an α-1,4-glucoside bond at a nonreducing end to form an α-1,3-glucoside bond by transglucosylation but not an α-1,6-glucoside bond. The method for producing the α-glucosidase comprises culturing a fungus belonging to the genus Acremonium and collecting the α-glucosidase from the obtained culture.
