A device for measuring CO2 gas for remote communication control for indoor air quality management and a control method thereof are provided to measure CO2 gas density at regular intervals and perform ventilation by outputting an alarm if the current CO2 density exceeds alarm setup density, so that indoor CO2 density set by a user can be automatically maintained, and optimum air quality management can be performed by changing alarm setup density by remote communication control. A device for measuring CO2 gas for remote communication control for indoor air quality management comprises the followings: a power unit(10); a sensor(20) for detecting density of the CO2 gas at regular intervals; a display(40); a controller(30) which controls the overall operations of each component, compares the detected current CO2 density with a value set by a user, and outputs alarm status according to the comparison resu a key input unit(50); an output unit(60) for outputting an alarm so as to drive an air conditioning pan according to the alarm status outputted from the controller(30); and a communication unit(70) which transmits information about states of the current operation mode, CO2 density, and alarm to an external remote device(80), and performs mutual communication with the external remote device(80) so that air quality management can be remotely controlled by the external remote device(80).
