Improvements in invention patent No. P200300087 for: "A device for collecting oil spills".; Consist move the device to the intermediate zone of the boat hull in the longitudinal direction thereof, connecting each arm (1) of said device with the hull of the vessel through several cables (23-23 '), uniformly distributed , to better absorb the stresses to which is going to be submitted each arm (1) in a work situation. Moreover, each collecting container (3) finishing the corresponding arm (1) incorporates two different compartments where the pumps (25) for lifting discharges collected and evacuation of water carried to said manifold are located, and which is also located the motor (26) driving the spindle (10) that runs along the arm (1). The leveling device maintained in correspondence with the waterline of the boat is achieved by two grooves (27) existing strangled mouth on the rear face of the plate (5) on which pivots the corresponding collection tank (3), grooves sliding on guides (28) parallel and vertical conveniently integral with the hull.
