PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost by pressing a pressing body against at least a part of a side end of a substrate to displace the pressing body or/and the substrate.;SOLUTION: In this substrate shaping device, a control part of a controller 44 pushes up the pressing body 41 toward a side end face as a cut surface of a front substrate 23 (back substrate 31) and displaces it at a predetermined amount along the vertical direction to press the pressing body 41 against the side end face and thereafter controls a motor driving part to drive a vertical movement part 42 so as to move in an opposite direction. When a burr B is produced on the side end face against which the pressing body 41 is pressed by the displacement at the predetermined amount along the vertical direction of the pressing body 41, the pressing body 41 is pressed against the burr B on the side end face and the burr B is removed by the pressing of the pressing body 41.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
