Method for detection of tomato spoon leaf virus (Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus -TYLCV-). A method based on the rapid extraction of DNA from tomato plants and the use of specific oligonucleotides that allow the detection in less than 12 hours of a large number of samples is described. The technique used allows the detection of TYLCV-Is and / or TYLCV-Sr isolates by means of a PCR protocol that uses the combination of suitable primers between oligonucleotides AV613, AC908, AV935 and AC1045.
