PURPOSE: An LCD device and an electronic apparatus are provided to suppress display inferiority such as a residual image or a stain while displaying a viewing angle, without deteriorating an opening ratio caused by a step difference in case a multi-gap structure is comprised. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal layer(50) is maintained between one pair of substrates(10,25). A transmissive display area(T) and a reflective display area(R) are comprised within one dot area(D1). The liquid crystal layer(50) consists of a liquid crystal having a negative dielectric anisotropy. Electrodes(9,31) for driving the liquid crystal are disposed in the liquid crystal layer(50) of the one pair of the substrates(10,25). Opening portions(41,42) and convex portions(43,44) are disposed in the transmissive display area(T) and the reflective display area(R), respectively. An opening size of the opening portions(41,42) and a substrate plane directional occupancy size of the convex portions(43,44) are bigger in the reflective display area(R) than the transmissive display area(T).
