PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the data structure of triangular mesh for referring to adjacent triangles as it is in a triangular strip format expressing triangular mesh data.;SOLUTION: This data structure of triangular mesh comprises a coordinate table for storing n-dimensional coordinates; a vector table for storing n-dimensional vectors; a vertex coordinate index table for storing indexes to the coordinate table which stores the vertex coordinates of each triangle of the triangular mesh, according to the triangular strip format; a normal vector index table for storing indexes to the vector table which stores normal vectors in the vertex positions of the triangular mesh, according to the triangular strip format; and a triangle index table for storing indexes to the adjacent triangles. The triangular mesh data of n-dimensional space is stored using this data structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
