The supermarket trolley is constituted by a basket (11) which can move relative to its castor supports (2). Connection between the trolley support arms (6) and the basket is obtained by two rods (14) fixed to each side of the basket and to the support arms. These rods constitute a deformable parallelogram either side the basket enabling synchronous rotation of the rods around spindles (15) for rotating the basket to extract or place it in the car boot. The support remains fixed during this time. The rods are rotated about the spindles located in the basket by two reductions gears and a chain located either side the trolley. These reducers gear down synchronously the four rods which reduces the effort required by the user. On the same principal a single central reducer on the large side of the basket returns the movement from either side toward the rods.
