PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a melting furnace by reducing auxiliary combustion rate while keeping intended temperature.;SOLUTION: Control structure of a refuse gasification melting furnace of char separation type is provided. In the structure, stable supply of char, which is an advantage of the furnace, is sufficiently utilized, and even if there is a disturbance, such as calorific value variation of refuse, manipulated variable of char supply rate, auxiliary combustion rate, air supply rate or the like can be calculated so that controlled variable such as of gas temperature in the furnace satisfies operation requirements, by using a map control technique.
