PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce the working time and labor required for numerically setting the numerical simulation of waveguide characteristics. ;SOLUTION: A formula specifying the form of waveguide while including plural parameters is inputted and set (S12), a formula specifying the characteristic simulation of operating wave guide or the like while including plural parameters is inputted and set (S13), the typical values of parameters in the respective formulas, initial value in the case of fluctuation, final value in the case of fluctuation and number to be fluctuated between the initial value and the final value are set parallelly with the input setting of these formulas (S14), the range of parameter to be fluctuated in one time of simulation process is selected (S15) and when a simulation process start button is inputted (S16), the characteristic simulation is executed while being automatically set concerning all the combination of concrete numerical values of parameters (S17).
