The regulation device uses a pressure sensor (15, 17) detecting the pressure in each extra corporal blood circulation loop, supplying a series of successive press values which are held in a memory. The variation in the blood press relative to the value at the beginning of the treatment is determined to obtain the variation in the blood vol. using the quotient of the press difference and the blood flow. Pref. the evaluation device (20) for the variation in the blood vol. controls the ultrafiltration device (12). ADVANTAGE - Maintains required ultrafiltration rate or vol.
