PURPOSE:To remarkably contribute water saving for water supply by catching rain water on an express-highway or the elevated track of an elevated railway, storing it into a storage tank through a filter, and supplying the water to facilities utilizing water through a water supply system. CONSTITUTION:Rain water falling on the elevated bridges 1 such as an express- highway, the track of an elevated railway is caught with catchments such as side ditches 21. Nextly, caught rain water is, through a conduit 2, filtered with a filter 3 provided on the way of the conduit 2, sent to a storage tank 4 provided in the space under the elevated bridge 1, and stored. The water stored in the tank 4 is supplied to various facilities utilizing water through a water supply system constituted out of a pump 5, conduits 6, and the like. Hereby, an unused space 7 under the elevated bridge 1 is effectively utilized, and this equipment is also used as reservation of emergency water at a disaster.
