Recombinant retrovirus defective, its application to the integration of the sequences coding for a protein determined in the genome of cell cultures capable of being infected by the retrovirus wild-type and recombinant dnas for the production of this recombinant retrovirus
The invention relates to a defective recombinant retrovirus containing a sequence encoding a protein in the genome of cells. The dna of the recombinant retrovirus contains the sequence coding for the protein which is interposed between a splicing acceptor site and a splicing donor site, the assembly being placed under the control of an appropriate promoter, and this under conditions such that the infection of the cells by recombinant retrovirus is accompanied by the incorporation of the sequence encoding the protein in the genome of the infected cells.
