PURPOSE:To easily find out an error by coordinating a sound of a sound train coordinated at every picture of a copy character in accordance with a writing order, to a picture unit of a pupil character and sounding a sound coordinated in conformity with the display of the picture of the pupil character and/or the copy character. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with a sound train information holding part 9, a pupil character/copy coordinating part 10 and a picture/sound coordinating part 8. In this state, with respect to the picture of a pupil character corresponding to a picture determined by the writing order of a copy character, for instance, the coordination of a sound of a sound train such as 'do-re-mi-fa-so-la-si-do', etc., is executed, and a sound coordinated in conformity with the display of a picture of the copy character and the pupil character against on a display screen is sounded from a sounding part 7. Accordingly, when the copy character and the pupil character are displayed side by side, when a pupil has written a correct character, the same sound is sounded in accordance withe the display of the picture of the copy character and the pupil character, and when the pupil has written erroneously, the sound of the pupil character being different from a sound of the copy character is sounded by a display of a different picture. In such a way, an error is known immediately.
