The caravan is linked to the middle of the roof of the towing car via a raised front section by a universal joint coupling. The raised front section (1b) has a separate raisable roof (3) with flexible sides, to form an additional room for the caravan. The additional roof space does not lengthen the tractor-caravan assembly, which provides a shorter combined length than with a conventional drawbar. ADVANTAGE - Additional space without length extension.
