FIELD: aviation.;SUBSTANCE: area of application: the invention relates to the field of object detection in airspace, more specifically, to methods for detecting unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) by means of acoustic measurement, and can be used in security systems to prevent unauthorised access of UAVs to a controlled area. Substance: in the acoustic method for detection of UAVs, acoustic waves are received detecting the UAV signatures and audio interference sources. The decision to detect UAVs is made if the received signatures of the objects in the observation space match the UAV signatures from the library. The decision not to detect UAVs is made of the received signatures of the objects match with the signatures of sources of audio interference from the library. Technical result: provided simultaneous measurement of acoustic velocity of particles of acoustic waves emitted by rotating UAV propellers and sources of audio interference allowing to detect UAV signatures and sources of audio interference by means of comparison in the time and frequency domain with known UAV signatures and sources of audio interference from a constantly updated library of known signatures.;EFFECT: technical result of the invention is a method for detecting unmanned aerial vehicles applicable in security systems.;3 cl, 1 dwg
