Stator resistance and inductance estimation system for permanent magnet synchronous motors. And a permanent magnet synchronous motor control system using the same is disclosed. A stator resistance and inductance estimation system of a permanent magnet synchronous motor includes an observation unit, an error calculation unit, and a stator resistance estimation unit. The observing unit calculates the current estimation value and the back electromotive voltage estimate of the permanent magnet synchronous motor using the voltage of the controller of the permanent magnet synchronous motor, and the error calculator calculates the current estimate value and the measured current using the measured current of the permanent magnet synchronous motor. A current error between the current estimates is calculated, and the stator resistance estimator calculates an estimated value of the stator resistance of the permanent magnet synchronous motor using the current estimate and the current error.
