    • 摘要: In the early stage of 6G research,carrying out research on channel measurements and models is one of the fundamental and prerequisite works,as well as full of the challenges.Driven by the demand for multiple frequency bands,versatile scenarios,and various new technologies in the future,6G channels are expanding in multiple dimensions such as the space-time-frequency domains.Those all make 6G channel measurement and modeling research face a series of new challenges,e.g.,non-stationarity in multiple dimensions,the obvious increase in modeling complexity,and changes in theoretical premises and assumptions.It is therefore clear that more efforts are needed to understand propagation characteristics,especially in the new scenes and applications,and to develop a new paradigm for 6G channel modeling.

    • 摘要: Dear editor,Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) has been adopted in new radio(NR) [1], and multiple-port demodulation reference signal(DMRS) has been designed to achieve channel estimation. In NR, two ports of DMRS share the same frequency resource elements(RE) by employing an orthogonal code comprising cyclic shift phase. In general, channel estimation can be achieved via the classical discrete Fourier transform(DFT) scheme [2, 3] as channels for the two ports of DMRS can be separated in the time domain via the DFT scheme.

    • 摘要: The demand for high-speed boats that operating near to shoreline is increasing nowadays.Understanding the behavior and attitude of high-speed boats when moving in different waterways is very important for boat designer.This research uses a CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics)analysis to investigate the shallow water effects on prismatic planing hull.The turbulence fl ow around the hull was described by Reynolds Navier Stokes equations RANSE using the k-ɛturbulence model.The free surface was modelled by the volume of fl uid(VOF)method.The analysis is steady for all the ranges of speeds except those close to the critical speed range Fh=0.84 to 1.27 due to the propagation of the planing hull solitary waves at this range.In this study,the planing hull lift force,total resistance,and wave pattern for the range of subcritical speeds,critical speeds,and supercritical speeds have been calculated using CFD.The numerical results have been compared with experimental results.The dynamic pressure distribution on the planing hull and its wave pattern at critical speed in shallow water were compared with those in deep water.The numerical results give a good agreement with the experimental results whereas total average error equals 7%for numerical lift force,and 8%for numerical total resistance.The worst effect on the planing hull in shallow channels occurs at the critical speed range,where solitary wave formulates.

    • 摘要: Dear editor,The acquirement of the channel state information(CSI) is indispensable for designing efficient beamformers [1]. Unfortunately, estimating CSI is extremely challenging in the mm Wave/THz systems where the number of antennas is super-large and the receive signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) is relatively low. Most of the existing estimators are based on the direct applications of inherent channel sparsity and generic compressive sensing(CS) techniques, which cannot lead to fine enough performances in channel estimation because it puts strict requirements on the channel sparsity or the data measurements [2–7].

    • 摘要: A protective action of melatonin(MELAT)on docetaxel(DCT)-induced inflammation,apoptosis,and reactive free oxygen radical(fROS)generation values via blocking of TRPM2 calcium-permeable channel was investigated in different cells except for laryngo-tracheal epithelial(LT-Epi)cells.Hence,the protective action ofMELAT on DCT-induced oxidative toxicity and inflammation in LT-Epi tissue and cells of mice were investigated in the current study.MELAT treatment ameliorated DCTinduced mitochondrial ROS in the LT-Epi cells by reducing the generation of fROS(cytosolic and mitochondrial),lipid peroxidation,and depolarization of the mitochondrial membrane,while increasing reduced glutathione(GSH),GSH peroxidase,and total antioxidant status.In addition,DCT-induced increases of cytokine(IL-1β,IL-6,and TNF-α)generations were also diminished in the LT-Epi tissue by MELAT treatment.Furthermore,MELAT treatment increased viability and count of the cells followed by decreasing levels of cell death,caspase-3,and-9.The TRPM2 activity was also reduced by MELAT and TRPM2 channel blocker(ACA)treatments.In conclusion,MELAT modulated the increase of DCT-induced LT-Epi cell death by inhibiting mitochondrial oxidative stress and TRPM2 channel activity.Hence,DCTcaused side cell death,oxidant,and inflammatory actions in the LT-Epi were diminished via the treatment of MELAT.

    • 摘要: This paper reports a laboratory investigation of the fuel injection process in a diesel engine.The atomization process of the considered fuel(a hydrocarbon liquid)and the ensuing mixing with air is studied experimentally under high-pressure conditions.Different types of injector nozzles are examined,including(two)new configurations,which are compared in terms of performances to a standard injector manufactured by the Bosch company.For the two alternate configurations,the intake edges of one atomizing hole(hole No.1)are located in the sack volume while for the other(hole No.2)they are located on the locking cone of the needle valve.The injection process,the fuel atomization fineness and fuel supply speed characteristics are studied as functions of high-pressure fuel pump camshaft speed and rotation angle.The results obtained show that a decrease in the high-pressure fuel pump camshaft speed can produce fuel redistribution depending on the injector operation.In general,however,the hole No.1 can ensure fuel flow with higher speed with respect to the hole No.2 for all the operation modes of the injector.Based on such an analysis,we conclude that the use of certain injectors can enable a fine tuning of the propagation process of fuel sprays into various areas of the diesel engine combustion chamber.

    • 摘要: In this work, the effects of GaN channel traps and temperature on the performance of AlGaN/AlN/GaN/AlGaN high electron mobility transistors(HEMTs) on Si(111) substrate, were investigated. 2 D simulations carried out using the Silvaco TCAD simulator tool for different drain and gate voltages showed that acceptor-like traps in the channel have a significant influence on the DC and RF characteristics. It was found that deeper acceptors below the conduction band with larger concentration have a more pronounced effect on the transistor performance. Meanwhile, the donor-like traps show no influence. Pulsing the device with different pulse widths and bias conditions, as well as increasing temperature, showed that the traps are more ionized when the pulse is wider or the temperature is higher, which can degrade the drain current and thus the DC characteristics of the transistor. Passivation of the transistor has also a beneficial effect on performance.
