    • 摘要: 研究了由泵浦光和探测光同时驱动的石墨烯光力系统中的非线性光学现象,如光学双稳态和四波混频现象.通过控制泵浦光功率强度和失谐能有效操控光学双稳态.对石墨烯光力系统中的四波混频研究发现四波混频谱中尖峰的位置正对应石墨烯振子频率的数值,因此给出一种测量石墨烯振子频率的非线性光学方法.此外,基于对石墨烯光力系统中四波混频的研究进一步理论提出一种非线性光学质量传感方案.通过探测四波混频谱中由于纳米颗粒质量引起的机械共振频移可直接测出沉积在石墨烯振子面上的纳米颗粒的质量.该非线性光学质量传感方案将对探测噪声免疫,并且将在高精度及高分辨率质量传感器件方面有着潜在应用.

    • 摘要: 运用非线性传输矩阵法对比研究含Kerr缺陷余弦函数型和Sinc函数型光子晶体的光学双稳态.结果表明,选取中心层为Kerr缺陷层的对称结构可以大大降低双稳态阈值;在缺陷层光学厚度不变的前提下,减小中心缺陷层线性折射率而增大两侧介质层周期数均可以实现更低双稳态阈值;研究还表明,在介质层光学厚度相同的前提下,介质层折射率分布函数选取余弦函数形式较Sinc函数形式能够实现更低阈值.

    • 摘要: All-optical diode is one of the key devices of future optical communication and photonic computer.In this paper, the nonreciprocal optical transmission characteristics of a new-type all-optical diode based on nonlinear photonic crystal (PC) are analyzed by means of finite difference time domain, and two ultrashort pulse lasers are used to pump the PC directly-coupled microcavity and the side-coupled microcavity, respectively, so that the nonlinear optical bistable state of the two microcavities can be accurately adjusted and a high-performance optical diode, which is of a unidirectional transmission rate up to 90% and a forward-reverse transmission contrast ratio of more than 80, is realized in a broad operating bandwidth of more than 0.44nm (dozens of times that in the literature).%全光二极管是未来光通信和光计算中的关键器件之一.文中通过仿真实验,利用时域有限差分法研究了一种新型非线性光子晶体全光二极管的非互易光传输特性,提出通过利用两个超短脉冲泵浦对光子晶体直接耦合微腔与侧边耦合微腔分别进行泵浦,以对两个微腔的非线性光学双稳态进行精确调控,从而在较宽的工作带宽内(0.44nm,是已报道的数十倍)实现信号光的单向高透射率(可达90%),同时可获得较高的正反向传输对比度(超过80).

    • 摘要: 采用统一色噪声近似构建了由乘法色噪声驱动的纯吸收型光学双稳态状态方程,并分析了色噪声对光学双稳态的影响,将结果与白噪声驱动的光学双稳态进行比较.结果表明:当乘法噪声与加法噪声处在正关联时,增加乘法色噪声的自关联时间τ,光学双稳性的区域显著变宽,即磁滞回线面积变大;当乘法噪声与加法噪声处在负关联时,只有乘法噪声较小时,改变乘法色噪声的自关联时间τ,光学双稳态才发生改变;当乘法噪声的自相关时间等于零时,本文模型退化为乘法白噪声驱动的光学双稳性状态方程.

    • 摘要: Permittivity depends on the electric field intensity in a nonlinear material, and it changes with the incident intensity of the electromagnetic wave. This phenomenon leads to the occurrence of optical bistability. The optical bistable threshold value depends on the localized degree of electromagnetic field in the nonlinear material, and the stronger the localized field, the lower the threshold value is. However, the loss of material is one of the important factors influencing the strength of the local field. It is commonly believed that the loss is not conducible to reducing the threshold value because increased loss can weaken the localized degree of fields. For the lossy single-negative metamaterial, the transmission is nonmonotonic as the loss varies. That is to say, the transmission first decreases and then increases in the lossy single-negative metamaterial. Therefore, the nonlinear transmission in the lossy single-negative metamaterial may lead to novel physical phenomena. Permeability-negative material and permittivity-negative material are two kinds of different single-negative metamaterials. In this paper, the optical bistable phenomena in the heterostructure of permeability-negative material and permittivity-negative material are studied by using the transfer matrix method. Here, the permittivity-negative material is nonlinear material. The results show that the optical bistable threshold value first increases and then falls down as the loss increases. The variance of the localized electromagnetic field at the interface between the permeability-negative layer and the permittivity-negative layer at the discussed frequency is discussed in the present paper to understand the nonmonotonic phenomenon. Further studies indicate that the nonmonotonic localized electromagnetic field is also presented at the interface between the permeability-negative layer and permittivity-negative layer. That is to say, the enhancement of the localized field can be obtained when the loss is increased, which results in the nonmonotonic optical bistable threshold value in the heterosturcture composed of the single-negative metamaterials. In the final analysis, the abnormal phenomenon is induced by the loss in the single-negative metamaterial, which is the special property of single-negative metamaterial.

    • 摘要: 在原子光机械腔混合系统中,通过求解系统的Heisenberg-Langevin方程稳态解,研究光机械腔内倒Y型四能级原子系统在电磁诱导透明与非电磁诱导透明配置下,混合光机械系统的光学双稳态特性.分析发现在非电磁诱导透明条件下,光子数双稳态上阈值可调节,而下阈值始终不变.相反,当光场与原子之间的耦合使原子系统处在其中一个透明窗时,上阈值基本不变而下阈值可调节.另外,在相同驱动场强度情况下,电磁诱导透明配置比非电磁诱导透明配置更易实现光子数双稳态;不管是电磁诱导透明配置还是非电磁诱导透明配置状态下,当双稳态曲线达到上阈值之后,随着驱动场强度增加双稳态曲线都呈线性变化趋势.

    • 摘要: 应用数值方法研究了倒Y型四能级系统在单向环形光学谐振腔中的光学双稳态特性,应用密度矩阵理论给出了原子系统的密度矩阵运动方程,研究了自发辐射产生相干对光学双稳态阈值的影响.分析发现当探测场与控制场满足双光子共振条件时,原子捕获在两个下能态系统对探测场透明不能形成双稳态,当探测场与耦合场或耦合场与控制场满足双光子共振条件时,系统仍可以形成双稳态.在稳态条件下,自发辐射诱导相干导致两自发辐射通道干涉相消,上能级的粒子数增加,电磁诱导透明窗变窄,双稳态的域值增加.

    • 摘要: 采用时域有限差分技术分析了非线性光子晶体点缺陷的双稳态特性,选择一定频率失谐的连续波入射并观察透射现象。分析发现,当连续波功率增加到阈值点时透射率达到最大值。采用大功率脉冲辅助连续波的方式发现点缺陷的透射率一直处于高透射状态,直至连续波功率下降到很低时,透射率才迅速下降。双稳态特性由频率失谐δ、缺陷谐振频率ω0及非线性系数 n2等3个参数决定。采用空间电磁场的摄动理论验证所得结果与数值模拟结果一致。%This paper conducts a research on the bistable characteristics of point defect in two dimensional nonlinear photonic crystals with finite-difference time-domain technique. It analyzes the transmission be-havior of input continuous wave with frequency detuning,and the results show that the maximum transmis-sion is detected when the continuous wave reaches the threshold power. What’s more,the defect can be boosted into high transmission state by superposing continuous wave with a high peak-power pulse,and it won’t decrease rapidly until the continuous wave power is brought down to a very low degree. The fre-quency detuning,the resonant frequency,the nonlinear coefficient n2 are needed to characterize a bistable switch. In addition,the dynamic shift of the cavity modes is derived by using the perturbation theory. The conclusion provides some reference for the design of all optical devices based on PC defect.

    • 摘要: 主要研究了共振类系统中的三脚架型四能级原子介质被三个光场所驱动,然后将其放入单向环形腔的双稳态行为.通过研究发现驱动场和控制场的频率,合作参数,以及失谐量都能不同程度的影响光学双稳态的产生,还给出了双稳态的阈值宽度以及可调参数的取值范围,为实验上控制和实现光学双稳态提供了理论依据.
