    • 摘要: The purpose of this study is to determine if there is a correlation between grades and playing an instrument.Furthermore,it will be determined if the number of hours one spends practicing their instrument and how long one has played their instrument affects one’s grade in a class.The data for this study were obtained through a Google Form and were targeted towards middle and high school students in the United States.Results of this study concluded that there is a correlation between playing an instrument and one’s grades in certain subjects.It was also determined that the amount of time spent practicing or how long one has played an instrument also had an impact on one’s grades in certain subjects.

    • 摘要: The purpose of this study was to determine if the Drums Alive Kids Beats intervention could improve behavior in children with developmental delays (DD). The original pilot study that this study on behavior is linked to is titled, “The Effects of a Drums Alive Kids Beats Intervention on the Physical Performance and Motor Skills of Children with Developmental Delays,” which was published in the December edition of the Open Journal of Pediatrics (OJPED, Vol.11 No.4 2021). During the facilitation of said intervention on physical and motor skills, the facilitators noticed unanticipated improvements in behavior, both individually and as a community through better awareness, self-control, self-efficacy, social interaction, and positive energy. Therefore, while maintaining the integrity of the MOT 4 - 6 testing protocols and Drums Alive intervention, a parallel study was conducted to objectively measure six behavioral domains, namely, motivation, impulse control, coordination, concentration, implementation of tasks, and creativity using a self-designed measurement tool with three elements for each domain that was approved by Dr. Heiner Lagenkamp, Department of Sports and Physical Activities, Teaching and Research, Ruhr University, Germany. The 20 participants were German students between 5.10 and 10.2 years of age with no inclusion or exclusion characteristics who were divided into two intervention groups, IG Kindergarten (IG Kinder) and IG Elementary (IG Elem), with varied DD, i.e., transgressive behavior, ADHD, ADD, autism, anger management, visual acuity, self-control, and self-esteem. During the MOT 4 - 6 study and Drums Alive Kids Beats intervention, the facilitators monitored and assessed each participant for pre- and post-performance vis a vis behavior concurrently with physical and motoric skills. As the original study provided statistically significant improvements of between 14% - 24% in physical and motor skill performance with regards to overall scoring and 7 subdivisions of tasks, the results of this parallel study on behavior, with its 6 domains and 18 elements of between 24% - 28%, were even more compelling. The evidence indicated that the Drums Alive Kids Beats intervention with its multidisciplinary approach of music, movement, and drumming, could be used as an effective tool and therapeutic approach to improve behavior in children with developmental delays.

    • 摘要: 以波束形成方法为理论基础,对圆阵采集到的实验数据进行doa估计分析。文章研究了圆阵接收信号模型以及CBF算法、MUSIC算法和SBF算法等;依托湖上实验数据,分析了不同方法下的波束响应特点、连续时间下的来波信号DOA估计结果、以及SBF算法的测向分辨力。通过数据分析可知,几种方法都能够实现DOA估计的目标,但SBF算法的测向稳定性更好,且具有更高的测向分辨力。

    • 摘要: 现有气象系统的设计和建设缺乏统一的规划,导致各系统功能全、规模小,整体的安全防护能力较弱,集约化差,“信息孤岛”现象仍然存在。论文利用大数据技术,搭建了以MySQL、GBase、HBase和分布式NAS为基础的统一数据存储环境,建设了融入业务体系的“一中心、一平台、多应用”的天津气象大数据共享网,形成了支撑天津省局特色的全业务数据服务中心,有效实现了数据的共享,流程的高度集约,极大提升了省级气象综合业务能力和数据的服务能力。实际测试表明,GBase数据库查询性能提升5倍多,而随着时间延长,甚至提升至22倍以上,HBase的查询性能在毫秒级,MySQL的查询性能在秒级。

    • 摘要: 由于现代战争对隐身目标和远距离弱目标的测量需求凸显,使在这些方面有突出优势的MIMO雷达逐渐成为研究热点。论文研究集中式双基地MIMO雷达的多目标角度估计问题,该雷达系统的发射阵列和接收阵列间隔的距离较远,收发阵中阵元密集布置,发射天线发射相互正交的波形,在接收端进行匹配滤波处理以分离出不同信号,从而形成特有的波形分集效应,相对于传统的相控阵雷达具有较好的目标空间分辨率和参数估计能力。论文将改进后的MUSIC算法引入到双基地MIMO雷达的目标角度估计问题中,验证了方法的有效性,并准确地估计出了多个目标的角度值。

    • 摘要: 面向室内厘米级定位及单站定位技术难点,借助射频识别(Radio Frequency Identification,RFID)收发相位同步技术优势,建立基于跳频的多载波相位距离观测方程,计算各载波在不同整周下的链路距离,利用距离方差快速求解整周模糊度,提升整周求解的鲁棒性.利用跳频并改进多重信号分类(MUltiple SIgnal Classification,MUSIC)算法建立跳频测向求解模型,消除短距离测向不同天线来波方向不平行带来的误差,实现两天线短距离标签反射信号的精确测向.最后联合载波相位测距对双天线测向结果进行筛选,实现RFID标签的单站厘米级精确定位.通过测试验证,平均定位误差低于4 cm.

    • 摘要: Background: Stress is a universal experience, now more than ever due to an ongoing worldwide pandemic. Modern college students are not only faced with the external pressures of succeeding academically, but they’re also affected by a multitude of other variables that are causing their mental health to suffer. This social trend highlights the need for a simple, efficient, and immediate remedy for individuals suffering from these stressors. Objective: In this controlled study, we assessed the effects of two methods proven by existing research to have stress-relieving effects. Participating college students underwent music (Weightless by Marconi Union) and mindfulness meditation (Daily Calm) treatments. Methods: Ten college students were screened via a self-reporting questionnaire to identify any pre-existing conditions that may present as extraneous variables. Quantitative variables related to stress, such as alpha frequency waves and heart rate, were obtained during baseline and post-treatment stress-induced environments using an iWire EEG recorder and oximeter pulse monitor. Each individual underwent treatments for a duration of five minutes, each with noise-canceling headphones. Students were placed in an experimental stressor state induced by the Stroop test, which provided baseline stressor data. Subsequently, participants underwent each treatment, recording their heart rate before and after each. Upon each treatment’s conclusion, the Stroop test was administered again while alpha wave data was recorded. The final data set was analyzed using a repeated-measures Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test and paired T-tests. Results: Participants’ data showed a decrease in both max-min and mean frequencies for both treatment methods, though the only statistically significant difference between baseline recordings was found in mean frequencies for meditation treatment. No significance or trend was found in changes in heart rate. Conclusions: We concluded that our hypothesis was not supported as the statistical tests showed a significant decrease in mean alpha wave frequencies between the baseline stressor and meditation data rather than that for music therapy. This is indicative of meditation’s greater effectiveness in increasing stress tolerance in participants, which lessened the effects of the controlled stressor event, generating lower alpha frequency waves. Upon experiment conclusion, possible sources of error were identified and varied between potential compounding effects of consecutively administered treatments and an inability of the Stroop Test (SCWT) to induce an adequate level of stress in all patients. In order to circumvent the aforementioned errors, we suggest a change in methodology in which treatments would be conducted on separate days and further research into the efficacy of the SCWT as an all-inclusive stress inducer.

    • 摘要: 西南区域数值模式预报产品是四川省特色预报服务模式产品,目前产品主要有9km产品(SWC-WARMS)和3km产品(SWC-WARR)。未来随着预报要素、预报时效的精细化程度的提高和产品种类、数据量的逐年递增,单纯的文件转发应用已经无法满足未来气象应用,而且根据省级数据环境与系统的集约化要求和省级气象大数据云平台(天擎,以下简称CMADAAS)目前对数值模式产品数据的管理能力,西南区域模式产品根据规范接入CMADAAS并且利用CMADAAS气象数据统一服务接口(MUSIC)为用户提供统一的数据服务。同时根据预报需求,可利用MICAPS4分布式数据环境提供的数据处理系统将西南区域数值模式产品接入分布式气象数据环境(MDFS),并且直接支撑MICAPS4应用。
