A surface photovoltage(SPV) technique is applied to construct a pH sensor and a penicillin sensor. Choosing silicon nitride as pH sensitive membrane, five kinds of standard buffer solution (with different pH value) are measured,and a sensitivity of about 55.84mV/pH is obtained. With a membrane of cross linked bovine serum albumin( BSA) - penicillinase overcoating on Si_3N_4 film, a penicillin sensor is investigated. It responds linearly to penicillin in 0.005 M phosphate buffer with sensitivity of about 6.02mV/mM over the concentration ranges of 1-10mM.
