This work is presented to evaluate the reciprocal screw of Schatz linkage by following a new algebraic procedure of an augmentation approach from the cofactor method. Based on the intersection of screw system sets, we also discuss the relationship between the screw system and its corresponding reciprocal one. In addition, the content includes the derived displacement closed-form solutions, the parametric formulas of screws for the joint axes and the finding of the reciprocal screw axis using the cofactor method. Meanwhile, a geometric & algebraic investigation of the reciprocal screw with computer graphics and the identification of interrelation between the screw and its reciprocal system are completed. It is easily shown that their interrelationships are disjoint
