摘要

Using the finite element method, we analyzed the temperature and load coupling stress of white topping on the asphalt pavement. And obtained the regularity how the maximum coupling stress changed with the deference of the thickness of the overlay, the thickness of old asphalt pavement and the modulus. It is showed that, under the coupling stress, the minimum design thickness of the white topping should be 22cm, and it should be appropriately increased with the change of the thickness of the Old asphalt pavement, the bearing capacity and the disease extent during designing.
