A ground-shielded transmission line consisting of the suspended signal line and the Au-to-Au packaged structure was designed and fabricated. The simulation results indicated that the ground-shielded structure could effectively reduce the signal loss resulted from dielectric coupling loss and radiation loss. The fabricated ground-shielded signal line has demonstrated low loss of 0.2～0.6dB/mm from 45MHz to 50GHz, which is lower than the loss of the conventional CPW.
