We consider the scattering of time harmonic elastic waves from a 2D bounded domain or from a crack taking into account the stress sin-gularties of elastic waves near conical boundary points. The paper is concerned with the sensitivity of the far-field patterns with respect to small perturbations of the shape of the scatterer. Using the method of adjoint problems we obtain an integral representation for the corresponding shape derivative.
