This symposium organized in memory of Dr. Sumio Yukawa, consists of three sessions. The last session is part of Materials and Fabrication (MF-10).The first session consists of three papers and one presentation-only. The first paper (PVP2008-61087) of this session is concerned with the comparison of environmental fatigue evaluation methods in light water reactors. The focus of the second paper (PVP2008-61137) is on the stress corrosion cracking behavior of Alloy 600 and Alloy 152 weld in a PWR water environment. The third paper (PVP2008-61693), a presentation-only, describes how Dr. Sumio Yukawa served as a great source of technical knowledge to his peers. The status of French fatigue analysis rules is the subject of the last paper (PVP2008-61911) of this session.In the second session of this symposium, the first paper (PVP2008-61181) of this session concerns with the application of Master Curve method to fracture toughness estimation of the transport and storage cask material. The second paper (PVP2008-61695) describes the contributions of Dr. Sumio Yukawa in the development of non-ductile failure prevention rules in the ASME Code. The third paper (PVP2008-61912) of this session is focused on the flaw evaluations in the dissimilar metal welds. The last paper (PVP2008-61917) in this session covers the temperature dependence of reactor water environmental fatigue effects on Carbon, Low Alloy and Stainless steels.
