In the circumstances of the rapid growth of commercial housing price in large and medium-sized cities in China, indemnificatory housing policy has been increasingly concerned, which is to resolve the lower-middle-income families' housing problems, directly affecting 70% of the total population. After studying the policy in the mature residential markets of American and Singapore, this paper analyzes the problems of the Chinese indemnificatory housing policy by comparison. Considering national conditions in China, some reasonable suggestions are put forward as a conclusion by learning the advanced experience in the mature markets.
