摘要

in this paper we present a new fourth order iterative method for solving nonlinear equations based on linear combination well known third-order variant of Newton methods. Convergence order is proved. Several numerical examples are given and compared with other known Newton type methods. The results show that the method developed in this paper has some more advantages than other well known methods including Newton's method.
