We provide mixed-integer programming formulations for a new class of multi-period network interdiction problems that focuses on scheduling the activities of law enforcement officials in order to successfully interdict criminals in the illegal drug supply chain. This class of problems contains several novel features that were motivated through collaborations with city-level law enforcement officials. These collaborations have also resulted in a systematic procedure to create realistic test instances of these problems. Preliminary computational results on these test instances provide some direction to the policies law enforcement officials should implement in their interdiction activities.
