摘要

A. pleuropneumoniae is the etiological agent of swine pleuropneumonia, a severe contagious disease causing important economic losses to the swine industry. PFGE separates large DNA fragments created by digestion of total genomic DNA with restriction endonuclease that cut DNA infrequently from several Kb to several Mb which sizes of DNA can not be separated by traditional electrophoresis. Additionally, PFGE can evaluate the genetic relationship between the similar field strains that may be the same inbiotyping and serotyping. In this study, we identified 41 A, pleuropneumoniae isolated from Youngnam and Kyunggi Provinces by polymerase chain reaction and evaluated the genetic relationship of A. pleuropneumoniae serotype 2(24 strains) which is the most prevalent serotype in Korea by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis.
