摘要

Organic acids (OA) and their salts are globally used in animal nutrition for microbial preservation and supporting animal health. They have been proven effective in maintaining growth performance (GP) since the EU banned antibiotic growth promoters (AGP) in 2006. The use of OA in animal nutrition can increase body weight (BW), improve feed conversion ratio (FCR) and reduce colonization of pathogens in the intestine.1,2 The aim of this study is first to review the mode of action and to investigate the impact of additional designed blends of OA on GP and health in pigs.
