Started from the characteristic of the professional disciplines of Landscape Architecture, by comparing the difference of design disciplines between the traditional Architecture Schools and Forestry Schools, the Urban Design teaching institution for traditional architecture schools, not suitable for forestry schools, is pointed out. There may be some teaching system suitable for Landscape Architecture professional in teaching Urban Design. The teaching arrangement for the course was divided into four stages, namely the introduction of basic knowledge, site investigation and analysis, design and expression of the design. Through the stages of training, the abilities of research, comprehensive analysis, space design capabilities and integrated expression were developed. Therefore, in teaching practice, not only should there have a reasonable teaching system, but also a good teaching method. The collaboration group, transformation role, timely guidance, fully expression and phased inspection were the teaching methods used in optimizing teach ing process.
