The bunch trimming of banana was studied by multi-point analysis of test results for many years based on the fruit commercial criteria of current market and the main types of environments in Yunnan, China, an important production area of banana. The results showed that: the treat of male bud and 2 hands removed with a small fruit was the best with 24.16 kg per plant, and compared with the treat of male bud removed without a small fruit increased 3.56 kg; the best method of the latosol slopes and alluvium flat was the treat of male bud and 2-3 hands removed with a small fruit and the average of per plant increased 2.38-4.68 kg to the treat of male bud removed without a small fruit; the treat of male bud and 2 hands removed with a small fruit was the best on the sandy loam slopes with increased 4.19 kg per plant to the treat of male bud removed without a small fruit; the optimum treat of the low-lying flat was male bud and 1-3 hands removed with a small fruit with increased 1.43-2.31 kg per plant to the treat of male bud removed without a small fruit. The best treat for the new plant, ratoon la was the treat of male bud and 2-3 hands removed with a small fruit with and the average of per plant increased 2.37-3.88 kg to the treat of male bud removed without a small fruit; and for the ratoon 2a was the treat of male bud and 2 hands removed with a small fruit and increased 3.92 kg per plant. With the Q-test showed that the best selection was the latosol slopes and alluvium flat for plant banana in Yunnan, and it was advantaged to hold the ratoon 2a for its produce.
