In this study, a one-dimensional model is developed for a vertical bubble tube ab-sorber based on the analogies between momentum, heat and mass transfers in a two-phase co-current upward flow. The model is compared with two-phase flow correlations from literatureand found that proper choice of pressure-drop and void fraction correlations allows predictingthe heat and mass transfer coefficients of a bubble absorber with a reasonable accuracy.
