Recently, a reduced-order stochastic electromagnetic macro-model in finite-difference-time-domain (FDTD) was developed, based on stochastic collocation on the sparse Smoljak grid. Here, we apply the technique to quantify the uncertainty in electromagnetic response of an aperture antenna whose conductivity and permittivity vary randomly according to Gaussian distributions. The results are correlated against standard Monte Carlo simulations, and show excellent agreement.
