The effect of additives of diamond powders of different dispersity on properties of bronze-based abrasive composites is researched. A standard bond of tin bronze Ml (20% tin, 80% copper) with additives of 1-4 wt % of natural diamond powders of 3/2 and 7/5 μm and of ultradispersed diamond powder is used. It was found that addition of ultradispersed diamond particles in the amount of 1-3% to the metal matrix has a positive effect on physical, mechanical and performance properties of composite materials.
