摘要

Using a massive data base from a mined out area on a gold mine, indirect and direct localized conditioning of recoverable resource techniques have been analyzed using typical feasibility study or new mine drilling data configurations that were drawn from this data base. The results were then compared with the historical corresponding grade control and production data in order to determine the efficiencies of the approaches and the validity of the recoverable mineral resource estimates for mine planning and financial forecasts.The study shows that the localized and somewhat more straight forward approach if applied efficiently can provide an equally useful tool for computing recoverable resources for feasibility mine planning as compared to the indirect approach as presently in use.
