摘要

The City of Delphos Ohio membrane bioreactor (MBR) is one of the largest MBR’s to go onlinernduring 2006 and has not been immune to startup challenges and issues for its first year ofrnoperation. The plant has successfully overcome many challenges over the past year andrncontinues to discharge effluent well and within its draft NPDES parameters. Communicationsrnand planning have mitigated most of the problems occurring during the past year. The finalrnconstruction cost was lower than predicted but normal plant operational costs have not yet beenrnavailable. The Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manual written for the plant is designed to berndynamic and usable. It should be the first thing the operators reference when there is a questionrnon the plant performance or behavior and the first reference to be edited when there is a changernin equipment or procedure.
