In the paper,electron beam welding the dissimilar high-purity Al alloy and 6061 Al alloy with 20mm thickness was investiga ted. To explore the trends and contributions of EBW parameters for aluminum alloys such as accelerating voltage,beam current,welding speed,the thickness of filler metal foil,frequency of oscillated beam,radius of oscillated beam and focal position,taguchi method was used in the experiments. Through the analysis of pores,cracks and weld hardness of electron beam welded zone,it can obtain from the results that the main influencing factors of crack were the thickness of filler foil and scanning frequency,and the hardness of weld and the thickness of filler foil had a significant linear relationship.Successful welded joint with few infects and good mechanical properties can be obtained under optimized parameters.
