摘要

对于外语学习者而言,熟练的使用英语词与词连读可以令英语表达的更地道,交流更通畅。对于母语为英语国家人而言,英语词与词连读似乎是非常自然且正常的东西,然而对于中国学生而言,汉语的字正腔圆的发音方式改变着中国学生的英语发音,使之发音不连贯,所以有必要掌握一种有效的学习方法来学习英语连读。英语“四位一体”教学法是结合中国英语外语教学的实际,创造性的在中学英语教学中由包天仁教授提出来的。它强调4个主要模式:Classroom teaching,Out-of-class study,Daily revision和Exam preparation.为英语连读学习提供了一种学习方法,也能为英语词与词连读的教学提供一种教学方法。
  本文首先以问卷的形式对当前小学生英语词与词连读的学习情况进行了初步调查,发现调查者对英语词与词连读的了解非常少,认识有待加深。选取30名学生作为被试,对被试进行前测,通过用英语“四位一体”教学法进行4个月的教学实验后,对被试进行后测,通过对比受试在前测和后测中分数的变化,来分析“四位一体”教学法影响下对小学生英语词与词连读的学习效果。本文旨在探索“四位一体”教学法是否能提高小学英语学习者的词与词连读水平;在“四位一体”教学法的指导下,哪种词与词连读提高的最快最好?“四位一体”教学法的具体执行方式是怎样的?
  通过对比受试在前测和后测的词与词连读测试中的分数,发现后测中每种词与词连读测试的分数均高于前测中的分数,这说明“四位一体”教学法能够提高小学生英语词与词连读的水平。在其中七种主要的词与词连读种类中,前一个词以r或re结尾,后一个词以原音结尾的这类词与词连读词组提高的最快最好,后测与前测差最大。且“四位一体”教学法在具体实施过程中,课后控制可能会有些偏差,但其他三项:课堂教学,平时复习和考试前准备都可以很好的控制。因此,在日常的英语教学过程中,教师应充分利用课堂,努力提高小学生的英语词与词连读水平。
